# Burn

To prevent spam, bring awareness and reduce the supply, we have incorperated a burn transaction that occurs every 24 hours. These burn transactions are payments directly back to our issuing account that reduce the circulating supply of XRMine tokens.

If you are new to the site you will not see this transaction until 24 hours have passed, however it appears very much like other transactions with one key difference in that if you close this transaction then you will be logged out automatically.

The Transaction will remain in Xaman and you should cancel any payment request's found in the events page before attempting to log in and sign the transaction.

This transaction is mainly here for spam prevention but if offers us an opportunity to show users what a burn transaction look's like should another platform have a similar feature, Although our Issuer Account is not blackholed these still remove the tokens from circulation.
